Meet Dr. Mark Evans

As clinical co-director of Meadows Center for Sleep Health in Longmeadow, Dr. Evans has more than 16 years of experience treating patients suffering from sleep breathing disorders with oral appliance therapy. With over 30 years treating patients of Pioneer Valley Dental Arts he has applied all of his expertise in orthodontics, restorative, aesthetic and implant dentistry to this Dental Sleep Medicine practice.

He has stayed current with research, techniques and advancements in the sleep dental field achieving credentials for Diplomate status with the International Academy of Sleep (IAOS).

Outside the office Dr. Evans is passionate about personal growth through reading and exercise including skiing, golf, and cycling. He enjoys spending time with his wife, children and now grandchildren.


Meet Dr. Derrick Ziemba

As clinical co-director of Meadows Center for Sleep Health, Dr. Ziemba strives to provide his patients with a healthier life utilizing state of the art technology and techniques to give them a better nights rest. Through his studies Dr. Ziemba learned the correlation between tooth damage and sleep apnea.

After receiving an undergraduate degree from Providence College he completed his education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine then a residency at St. Francis Hospital. Advanced clinical training continued at the Spear Center of Excellence and with the International Academy of Sleep (IAOS) for the Diplomate certificate.

He is committed to treating his patients with sleep disordered breathing with the highest standards to help them live a long and fruitful life.

In his spare time, he enjoys coaching ice hockey in the fall and winter and golf and fishing in the spring and summer. Dr. Ziemba is married to his wife, Christine, a Pioneer Valley native and they have two children.


Meet Gina Kiner, RDH, MSDH- Practice Manager

Gina is passionate about preventive healthcare and advocating for her patients’ overall health. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, as well as her Masters of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Bridgeport.

Gina has focused many hours of continuing education in sleep health, including studying towards a Diplomate Status with the International Academy of Sleep (IAOS).

Gina is an avid reader. She also enjoys cooking, teaching dance, and live theatre.
